front brakes loud squeaking/squeeling!!
had to get new discs and pads fitted to the scooby a month ago as the old ones were shot. anyway they are 310mm hi spec grooved discs and ferodo ds 2500 and after driving it for about 5/10 mins and using the brakes they are squeaking all the time and its really doing my head in. had them fitted at specialist garage not cowboys but why is doing it? it wasnt doing it when they were first fitted, do they need more copper grease on the pads?? help!!!!!!

Squeeling is quite often caused by a build up of brake dust ..... I always found that chamfering the leading edge off the brake pads (and anti rattle grease on the back of the pads of course) prevented any such issues.
