Default Ecutek 2 licence

If ive got an ecu that has got the Ecutek2 remap does this mean that the licence is "open" so that if i come to have a Ecutek3 it will be cheeper?

Yes yo do have a license, some of the early Tek2 were not licensed, but it's not usually a problem to get confirmation by Ecutek and have them credit your tuner with a license.
