BHP MAPPING PROBLEMS!!!
Hey all,my buggeye wrx recived a full 3"de-cat a while back and now i decided to take it to the next step.I visited my nearest Ecutech supplier with roalling road to fit a VF34 ceramic rollerbearing turbo and Ecutech re-map but so far only come up with 288bhp,when I was told the figure should be upto 330??? It was also fully serviced with new pluggs and belts 1000miles back,is running on v power and had boost upto 1.2 bar to get a reaction but its not happenin. Just thaught id put a thread out to see if anyone else has come up with anything like this before? Its still sat on the rollers to get a second look at on friday so any info would be of help.

Regardless of anything else, you'll need bigger injectors as the standard 380cc's will be pretty much maxed out.
Taking a step back, the company who mapped your car should have been able to tell you about the fuelling, and if there was anything else that could be causing an issue.
Who mapped it for you ?
Mark.

VF34 and appropriate supporting mods (including fuel pump and larger injectors, exhaust and decent induction) should yield 320 to 340 mapped for V-Power. The torque fig achieved on the rollers will be low compared to real life but thats down to the loading. Make sure the car is finish mapped on the road as things will be quite different.
Suggest you let your tuner have another shot at it, as Mark mentions they should be able to spot whats going on.
