maf sensor

Default maf sensor

i keep going through maf sensors??????????
is this because i have a k and n air filter? i have a fmic so i cant put the old airbox on so if it is this what else can i do? i was told if i get a longer pipe going to the filter this would help or am i wrong?

Have you blocked off the cam breathers that vent into the inlet pipe? Maybe the oil vapour from them is getting onto the MAF?

swap the filter. Try an Apexi Kit they are a dry kit not oil based like the K&N.

Its the oil on these filters that shaft the maf. I used to have the same problem I swapped my filter for a fine mesh one haven't had any problems since.

also make sure the pipe is solid as vibration can be a maf killer 2

chears guys i will try a different filter i havent blocked any pipes off ? where are the ones that need blocking off? thanks
