Just got meself a boost gauge and today have been trying it out

In 3rd im getting 15psi (1.03bar) does this sound right I have my00 uk turbo standard apart from s/s backbox, panel filter and d/v.

My mates my99 uk turbo with full decat, panel filter and d/v did 16psi (1.1 bar) sound ok?

Oh yes 1st and I think second was a bit lower - think ive heard that is normal

If and a big if i get a dawes what can i wind it upto?

Cheers for any help/advice

Sounds about right on the boost level.

Not sure about the boost controller as I have no experience of them but for peace of mind book it in for a remap.

dont go down the dawes line. just had my uk turbo remapped now running 1.2 bar / 17.4 psi and holding that. totally transformed the car. ive been told that 18 psi is max for the standard internals for our cars.. also upgrade the fuel pump to 255 if you want to be safer
