Default HELP NEEDED FITTING STI 4 INTERCOOLER

Need some advice im fitting a sti intercooler for the moment but when i went to fit the unit/valve in the bottom right corner is getting in the way what is it and how do i get round it




This is what im fitting untill the next group buy for the front mount



Or do i just sell it and wait

Cut off the alloy pipe & have a plate tig welded over the hole.
Thats what I had done to mine.

As above, then add a tube for the dumpvalve on the piping that goes to the turbo.

As above or remove the red hose & buy the samco version 1/2 turbo hose kit. That way you will be able to retain your standard dv & its position.

Note the samco hose is longer than required, so a bit of trimming down to suit.

Might just bite the bullit and sell them both and get the front mount. canthe front mount be fitted slightly back so i can keep the lowergrill inplace I know i have to cut the bumper but if their is just enough room i could trim the grill down and weld it back in

Their was a group buy just before xmas think they got them for the £195 mark so was gonna see if they have any back in stock yet if you go to group buys you will see them their

I would'nt waste my money on a cheap frontmount, the flow rates are s**t!! Unless your looking at doing alot of trackdays or running huge amounts of power they ar'nt worth it. You'r much better off fitting a larger sti topmount!! I'v just finished fitting an sti8 intercooler to my m/y94 sti1!!
