Default Loss of torque (and burble?)

Hi

My WRX ppp is due its 30k service next week. I have had the car 4 months during which time it has run great, and also less than great. It seems to feel flat across the rev range and strained when on boost - I thought perhaps the clutch was slipping but it's hard to say, feels more like a pressure loss if that makes sense? And, unless I'm going mad, the burble is sometimes non existent(?) and a booming / rumble sound can sometimes be heard on boost in 4th and 5th...

Any ideas? Could it just be anxious for its service?
