fault code 43 Accelerator Pedal Switch? help
Hello all, yesterday i was driving my scoob and found it to be really sluggish, i was on the motorway and it was struggling to hit 100mph normaly i could hit 140mph with ease, and so today i decide to see if i got any error codes. i got error code 43 which means Accelerator Pedal Switch. so just to be safe i done a ecu reset and the code still popped up. any ideas on how to fix this? i have a MY94WRX with few mods. Plus when i put my foot down i can hear loads of gushing air noise. any help would be useful.
Mods includes: FMIT, 550CC injectors, full decat with ninja back box, headers, light weight pullys, TD05 16G turbo, Walbro fuel pump, 4 pot brake with vented and cross drilled discs. Electronic boost controller. thats all i can remember for now.

Code 43 means you have a remap!!
Most remaps are based on the Z4 ECU files, these cars had a switch fitted on the loud pedal, no one has been able to find the hex address in the map to turn it off!
This won't cause you any problems, unless you have one of these rare cars with the pedal switch, if you do then i guess it's mounted under the dash somewhere and maybe playing up. If you don't then you'll have to reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery, joining the plugs will not complete the reset as active faults will be found.
Agree with Simon sounds like an air problem.
