scooby type r is not boosting over 4000rpm
hi my subaru is a T/99 wrx sti 2dr not sure what version it is but just took it out today
and noticed that it is not boosting over 4000rpm it dies 
off not sure why the check engine light came on and i think ive reset it now cos it doesnt come on now at all
please can anyone help me on this please

I'd suggest getting a diagnostic check done to see why the check engine light came on. If the light has gone off then there may still be a historic code stored, which may help identify the problem. Then go from there, probably needs someone to have a look at it as it is difficult to say what would cause such a problem just from a description.
