Default Walbro pump????

I'm going to change the fuel pump over the weekend as it has started to tire out.

If I buy a Walbro, will I need to buy an adjustable fuel pressure reg, or will the OE one do the job?

Should be fine on the normal FPR for now, if it does show any sighns it will run a little rich.

Why would it be rich?

I just bought a standard one incase it caused overfuelling at idle and low revs!

not on every car.. but sometimes the walbro over powers the standard fuel pressure regulator when the engine is not consuming lots of fuel like on idle or cruise..

i fitted a walboro pump on my Type R and it overfuelled massively to the point where it wouldnt run.The remap sorted it out a treat

just be wary as Simon says some engines react differently to others in that fitting a pump can overpower the std regulator causing it to either run like crap or not run at all
