Default Boost gauge connection point - not sure on something

Morning everyone, im thinking of buying the boost gauge kit off scoobyworld.

Now i know that the vacuum gauge connection needs to go to this point on the engine ( not my engine in this picture ) -

But ive already got my dump valve connected to this socket. The DV was fitted to the car when i bought it so its not my doing. Im not sure on the make of the dump valve but i appear to still have the standard dv fitted to the intercooler but i also have a second one that has a tube connecting to the same place you put the vacuum hose into. Does this mean i have both a recirc and a VTA dump valve fitted - and why would the previous owner do this? For the noise but without the VTA problems possibly?

Sorry if this is all rather complicated without a picture, but im in work at the moment.

Would i be ok to tap into this existing tubing or would the dv cause the boost gauge to have a false reading?

Thanks

Adam

That connection would be OK. A tee-piece in the pipe from the manifold to the dump valve is an accepted connection point.
Two dump valves???
