Last night I was on the way home from town. Took it really steady til I got to the last hill, where I floored it. Massive grin on face after reaching the top of third, but then as I slowed down there was a whining noise running along side the normal engine noise. First thoughts were diff or gearbox, so put it in garage and went to sleep with the face on.

Got up this morning and the noise seems to have gone (paranoia is still as present as ever though )

Anyone got any ideas?
