Post WHERE TO GET MY ECU

I've had a bit of advice from Andy F. Thanks

I want to get a replacment ECU for my WRX Import.

Does anyone know of any suppliers/fitters in the Midlands for an Apexi Power FC?

Been searching but they all seem to be miles away

API/Zen should be able to supply and map.

I got my Apexi PFC + Controller from Welcome - Nengun Performance for a superb price. Its shipped from Japan, takes around 2 - 3 weeks but well worth it. Hopefully the legend Andy Forrest is mapping it at the end of the month. But as far as I know, he's based in Edinburgh, so dont know about the midlands rep.

It's a 96 registered but is actually a 97 model??

I've just spoken to API and Zen for prices etc - who would you say is the best?

API is cheaper, does this reflect in quality?

Totally agree. Buy the hardware from Nengun and pay a mapper to install and map.

Stricly speaking, I have been mapping them for API, for some time. Not to mention many for my own customers besides. Not sure price is a reflection of quality as the last time I checked we were cheaper than API.

just had a look at the nengun website, the price seems really good. How much is the going rate for a mapper to fit and map?

Andy is fitting and mapping mine for £260. Tip top

As I said, its a great website, with some great prices too. Sadly, on larger items such as exhausts, the shipping costs add up. Things like ECU's though, excellent. As a side note, put a note in the Order Comments sayings its a gift, as it will reduce the risk of customs charges if any.
