Default de cat

i have a 2000 (w reg) completly standard scooby, had now for 7 months. wanting to start up grading the power bit by bit. its had a remus twin back box put on when i bought it. if i take out the centre section cat and replace with stainless pipe that is advertised on scooby sport for £110 will this make alot of difference? do i have to get it re mapped when changing the centre section????

You wouldn't 'need' a remap just for the centre section. If & when you decat downpipe, then remap

if you go for a full decat it will run ok but to get the best out of the car and to run it safely best to get it mapped.
