Question Has anyone got a Blitz.....

Has anyone got a Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust system on their classic, and a De-Cat pipe?

Any idea what it sounds like?

F*cking loud!! I have an Afterburner Vortex on my P1, and thats pretty sweet sounding, not overly loud but enough so to set off car alarms from a good distance away. The Blitz is one of the loudest you can buy, although there is a bung available depending on which version you go for.

I want loud.

One of my neighbours is really pisssing me off in his van/truck/tank/tractor thing. 7am every morning, this 'thing' fires up and i feel like running for cover.

I've remote start on the Scoob, so think a bit of his own medicine will go down well.

In other words, i don't give a **** about the neighbours and want that loud Scooby rumble we all know and love.

I'm looking at the full cat-back system, and yes it comes with the bung.

I'm just wondering whether to buy the system and the de-cat at the same time?

Or will I just be happy with the sound of the Blitz alone...

Wink

I've got one with 3.5" stainless complete system, single sports cat (mid section), stainless headers and up-pipe, cost a bit but boy does it sound some...the headers made the car sound like a motorbike higher up the revs.

If you dont care about others ref noise, buy one instantly! Although I do kinda feel like trying to be "quiet" when the cops are about (must be from my biker days with illegal cans etc...bringing back memories I guess).

I have got exactly that set up and it is ******* loud but I love it that much that the bung that came with it has never been fitted . That said though if I am going out late at night or early in the morning I roll down the road before starting the engine as I like my neighbours!

Same here

They are very loud, and at first i thought i'd end up replacing it, but you get used to it after a while.

Have a look on the 'for sale' section on here or Jap performance Parts as i had a nightmare trying to get hold of one about a year ago

got a 3: deact (heat wrapted) down pipe and blitz nur spec r system, fantastic sound, and you get a good poping, slight backfire noise when going down the gears slowly.

get one,

the loudest exhaust i can this of is one of the team ice system, stright through system, the back box that you can get from them, is just a pipe, no box!!

The cheapest ones are on Welcome - Nengun Performance as its shipped from Japan. However, when you add the shipping costs on it kinda works out only a little cheaper. lol. Well, you cant have everything!

Send me your email address and I'll email you some sound files I have of my MY96 STI with a H&S 3" decat DP and Blitz NUR spec system. The files don't do it justice, you really have to hear one in the flesh, it will wake the dead!!!!

Thanks for the sound files Nick.

To be honest thought, it doesn't sound much different from the sound files on the ScoobyWorld website of the Ninja backbox.

In your opinion, how do the two compare?
