Can anyone tell me how to remove the ignition lock barrel from our 94 WRX? The key has snapped off in the barrel, and I need to get it off so that I can either replace it, or try and get a new key sorted.

I am loathe to drill out the bolts and remove the whole lock assembly as I believe you can remove the lock barrel on it's own?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I have managed to get the barrel out, and removed the key stub, thank goodness
