Urgent help needed please! edit! now resolved!!
 

Can anyone tell me how to remove the ignition lock barrel from our 94 WRX? The key has snapped off in the barrel, and I need to get it off so that I can either replace it, or try and get a new key sorted.

I am loathe to drill out the bolts and remove the whole lock assembly as I believe you can remove the lock barrel on it's own?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I have managed to get the barrel out, and removed the key stub, thank goodness :)
