Default Coolent leak

Right since i had some work done on my scooby about 6 months ago iv had a coolent leak ever since, i can just smell it when im waiting at the lights or sommin.
It really is Pissing me off now, so i spent ages last week trying to find wher its coming from and just cant see.

Any Advice as to what i can do , or is it a case of given it to the dealer to sort.

2003 WRX

Cheers

the turbos are water cooled, turbo could be at fault or the copper washers that are between the banjo connections on the turbo itself, the copper washers are a very weird size so maybe they used the old ones, if it is leaking on the turbo it would evaporate instantly, thus giving no sign of a leak but a strong smell of coolant, have the cooling system pressure checked. it may identify the leak. good luck.

my mate had simular problem on his it was caused by one of the metal pipes on the turbo rubbing on the block which corsed a small hole and leaked mainly when the car was running. best first to jack car up and remove undertray then let car run for a bit see if you can spot and visable leaking. on my mates you could see the pipe getting wet only slighty but you could feel it more it goes from the passenger side of the turbo metal bottom pipe runs near the block and then rest of the pipe is rubber running behind the up pipe. if it is this you will be best getting spacer to stop it happening again.

but if you can't spot anything have it pressure tested as stated above

Water pump? I had smell of coolant but no coolant drop. Replaced under warranty with a nice new cambelt FOC. The giveaway is a rhythmic psccccch as the coolant evaporated on hitting the exhaust.
