Default K&N Panel Filter

Are these ok to use?
I believe early examples had an oil issue which created maf problems.
Going on an MY03 STI PPP.

There are no problems with the K+N pannel for your M/Y 03.

i was told this from a scooby expert

wash once every thrre months in dish washer and they will never cause a problem

dont use cleaners etc in dishwasher just the hot wash

always done it on mine and never had any problem

i have a 95 though

Filter or inlet manifold in dishwasher,
Lights in oven.

What's next? Seats in tumble dryer?

LOL, nice one Gaz.

Andy F also confirmed to me that Green/K & N panel filters were ok in the Newages as the housing had been redesigned, preventing the MAF from being damaged.

Only trouble with the STi filter is that you throw it away when it gets dirty!
