Porsche Carrera 4 in my Hillman Imp......

Passed me on the straight at 100mph., took him on the twisties that followed.....Lol

He went mental as I drove round him ( downhill twisties with view of road ahead ). Yes he was a rich plonker in a very nice suit. But soooo slow on the bends...

He could probably see my big grin in his mirror as he thought "pah its just a wrx" hehe

Had a good race with an escort cosworth a bit ago. He was trying his hardest to get away as I just stuck to his bumper smiling.

Also had an old 911 in my Corrado G60. Thought he had me on the twisty stuff, he didn't stand a chance haha

Went for a hot run down a quite local road in my 350BHP JDM STI8 when a ferrari 360 pulled out in front of me and booted it.Could see him looking in the mirror thinking ah its only a subaru his grin was soon wiped off his face when he saw that i was actually catching him, i had to back off going around the corners i think he relised that he had just made a mistakewhen i went past him he looked miffed

Ferrari 360 £110000
My Scooby £17000

dont get me wrong tho i would swap cars any day of the week

Last week on the A505, nice shiny Audi RS6, Owner was not impressed and I could hardly believe it! Such a buzz when a + £45k car gets out the way of a 11 year old £4k motor

Others include Boxter, New Focus ST, Range rover sport (supercharged) and countless typr R's!!

I tried to shake a 911 on the M1, but he was all over my rear like a rash. I pulled over, let him pass and tried to give chase. Was ok upto certain speeds, but then he would just leave me. Found out later in traffic that it was a tuned GT2 pushing out around 530bhp.

He did however compliment my wagon and commented on how well it went.

Oh go on then I'll add my bit before this thread gets trolled as usual.

55 plate Carrera S (997), not exactly blew it away but I was certainly the faster (60+ too..!).. No doubt he'd be better 130+.

One noticeable surprise (even although I was quicker was still a bit of an eye opener) a bright orange 1985 ('B' iirc) MG Maestro Turbo..! Actually looked quite good considering they looked ****e to start with..!

911 Turbo, Audi RS4 (the new one), various other 911's (not the GT3 though), Lambo Diablo, M3 (not the CSL), ratty Skybus GTR, Merc CLS55

All on the last trackday - really got to love decent track tyres!

Diablo driver was a pillock - even spun on the sighting laps!

However got my bottom handed to me on a plate by:

Radicals
VW Golf GTi (Toyo Cup race cars)
Porsche Carrera GT
Various Ferraris
Lambo's with better drivers
Caterhams
M3 CSL (very good driver though)
911 GT3 (same as above)

Most of the ratty stripped down track cars weren't there though, so it improves the apparant result

No money in the Middle East for fast cars then

From a traffic light grand prix; an E55 AMG, an Aston Martin DB7

From a rolling start down a slip road, an RS6.

My Mate had a Standard Impreza UK Spec and i had a MK2 Xr2 with a Turbo Engine and beat him in it.Even i was shocked..

I Normally get them all the Civic Type R's. Celica GT4's, but a good one was when i was on my way back in my 2003 WRX from a Remap at Bob Rawles and a Guy in a STi tried it and his face was so funny when he still saw me keeping up and finally over took him.
