Battery Condition ??? if it has stood for a year !!

Car is in Gear & the battery does not have the capacity to make it lurch forward !!!

Does the engine turn over by hand (Breaking Bar & Socket on the Crank pulley Etc & turn ) ??

Starter Motor Earth strap ???

Get yourself a simple 12 volt electrical tester & check for power at the starter & relevant points Etc

Check all fuses & Relays !!

Good Luck

Dean
