A Motul 300v 10w40 is my choice (340x333 05 wrx)..
This has been debated on here many many times so you may want to do a search, but basically a 10w60 is far to thick (unless you're doing serious track work and your oil temps are regularly over 110deg iirc). It therefore takes longer to warm up properly and can actually cause more wear when the engine is cold..!

personnaly i owned a MY2002 bugeyed wrx 275bhp/380Nm and since the beginning I used the 10w60 from SUNOCO and the car runned allways fine, cold or hot.
no i own a sti III v-limited sports wagon and i do use the same quality oil but from CASTROL. very good oil.
Choice it's yours.
