Just a quick question i have a my52 and thinking of having a magnex 6x4 oval back box, will it give me a deep burble i've heard so much about, or do i need to have the centre pipe aswell ????????

had one on my 03 wrx and it was very quiet and only came to life above 5k.

Don't need to change your centre pipe to get the burble. I've changed only the back box on my 52 WRX for the TSL Typhoon, which is loud.

If you want to mod your Scoob further its worth remembering 2.5 inch exhaust sections are restrictive on power.

A mate of mine on here has the 6x4 oval, it might not look like the traditional 3284 Inch stainless steal thing, but its definatly one of the nicest sounding subarus I have ever heard - However, his is fully decatted, could be something to do with it! Definatly a deep burble though

depends what system u have? i have a 3 inch decat pipe and a P1 centre section with cat and the 6x4 on a classic, it is fu*kin loud in a classic (powerman1) u stay in cuckoo land m8, my prodrive is silent not a magnex 6x4

ive got a 5" slash cut back box and 3" stainless to turbo.its got a real deep rumble,but since i fitted a ferral t304 stainless manifold its not as loud as it was,more responsive tho and still sounds great
