bullet cams
im off to the ring late march and ive just been having a look at a few bullet cams (not that im going to record my lap as thats not aloud). i noticed the prices seem to vary alot, there are some for £15 and other £150+, i need it to plug into a camcorder and want decent quality (else whats the point).
can anyone recomend a bullet cam?
weres the usuall place to mount? and how easy is it to mount next to the roof scoop?
cheers in advance

Ive got a cam from the same place.....fitted it on the bracket supplied with the kit up by the rear view mirror...(although this is in our rally car).
I wired it into a clean supply from the battery(otherwise you WILL get interference) and record the output onto a mobile DVR (archos 30GB...google search will give you info).
To be honest though, the archos is not the best solution for the Rally car and i may well purchase one of these... look up the MOBI BOX in the on line shop...and i think you can get a discount via scoobnet also...(remember reading something over on the essex scooby crew about this company and the discounts they offer)

Good luck..

the bullet cam is a must as i want it to be as descrete as possible and i want it fixed in the car all of the time which i cant really do with a window mount. im fairly sure you can just record though a camcorder with a bullet cam.

The bullett cams do come with a variety of brackets and mine is securely fixed to the body of the car...

you could also try here....
Helmet cameras
Go for at least 480tvl for a decent picture(although that will depend on your recording media)
