Anyone have any ideas as to the colour of the rpm signal wire at the back of the dash cluster?

I have done a search both on here and nasioc,but i keep finding differant wire colours,i have hooked it into the black/green one as instructed by my local ice specialist(from there wiring diagram system)but still no rpm signal

can anyone help

does that go into the centre plug on the rear of the dash cluster matey ?

on mine 05 its right hand plug but the wire is orange with a white line on on all models as my friend had had 52 wrx and his was the same and if memory serves me well theres only 2 orange wires at the back and the other is solid orange with silver squares
