Default Headers the differences?

My car a WRX02, will headers from a classic (94) fit OK, I understand there is a sensor either on the classic or newage that isnt on the other.

Which way round it is, I dont know.

So are they all swoppable?

Cheers

Not an expert by any means, but no they are not all swappable - early classics are different to late classics for instance

As far as im aware they should fit, most headers have holes for the sensors on both models.

check where your sensors are located on your motor and on the headers you have been offered.

Idealy you want the 3 bolt flange, removable up-pipe design.

Bar the twin scroll headers all the different years will bolt on, but newage and early cars had the lambda sensor in the collector before the uppipe, 97-00 the lambda sensor was in the downpipe. The very early cars had a slightly different design of header in that the primaries on each side joined up a different point, on the near side just before the link pipe, and on the offside just before the collector, whereas the other years the primaries come together just after the flange.
