Default powerfc and avcr

ok just upgrading to these items but quick question i have a 95 wrx with the low reading map sensor limiting 1.1 bar of boost when i have the car set up obviously i would like more boost than this can any one tell me if i'm still gonna have to renew this map sensor?

Your boost will be controlled by the AVC-R - mine is set at 1.4 bar

so the old sensor is not used then just thought it might due to ecu needing to read it for remap

no.. the AVC-R will be controlling the boost.. the OE map sensor will be read by the ecu but only for monitoring.. it will not be used.. the PFC only uses the map sensor to control the boost.. if the AVC-R is fitting it is not used.

oh and you can remove it, but no need as good to monitor (upto it's max) on the commander is useful.
