Why do you think you have a weak actuator? Only reason I ask, is because I'm trying to solve a boost problem and I'm not sure what is causing it!!!

I had a horrible resonance with the one on my td05, i'm pretty sure the actuator pressure is the same on 04's and 05's, so i fitted the one off my 04, to the 05, and now it's fine, plus the added bonus that the one off the 04 was adjustable, so i could tighten it up a fraction......

if you have a look at this thread
https://www.scoobynet.com/midlands-2...october-3.html
you'll see my RR print out
boost just flattens out at 0.6 bar
my car is running a scoobyecu mapped to 1.1 bar which i thin is about 16psi
never really noticed it until the rolling road day
i can remember when i used to get 14psi regular
would a dump valve cause this problem if it was leaking?

aren`t the actuators on the td05 adjustable for preload and the td04 ones set at the specific spring pressure, just a suggestion

if thats the case would i have to wind the rod back into the actuator or wind it out
ie make it longer or shorter
i would have thought it would be make it shorter as to increase spring pressure
but what do i know
