Standard boost on ppp'd my99?
Good evening all!
After fitting a boost gauge to my uk spec classic with ppp (my99), i was shocked to see that the car was boosting at around 1.2 bar
Is this the norm for this model with ppp? I assumed it'd be 0.9 or 1 bar?
Thing is i bought a manual boost controller before this (not fitted it yet) intending to wind up the boost a bit for a bit more poke but now i'm thinking it'd be a very bad idea to go more than 1.2 bar?
I hope someone on here who knows a bit about these engines could advise me which way to go as i'm not clued up with this engine yet.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can help!
Chris.

1.08 bar is the midrange target to hold. 1.2 bar is fine for a peak.
MBC will hold a bit better at the top. I used to run my decat PPP just below fuel cut which IIRC is about 1.35 bar, about 1 bar at 6000 RPM.
