What would be the benefit of fitting one of these rather expensive Samco turbo inlet hoses? What does it actually improve/do?
Is more from a #hose splitting' point of view or does it hold some performance gains or someat?

It would provide a smoother passage of air.

Read the 'Newage Modifications' article that Shaun (webmaster) has posted regarding his involvement with testing certain mods. Fortunately this was one of them and after a remap it showed an improvement.

 

not worth doing unless yours is split ( they get soft near the turbo )

i had to fit one as my turbo has a bigger inlet
