STI7 6 Speed oil and engine oil
Can someone tell me where to order Silkolene Silktran 75/90 for my gearbox and Shell Helix ultra 5w40 or equivalent for my engine?
How much oil do i need to get for gearbox/diff and engine?

Don't put sylktran in your sti7 gearbox. I used it on mine and found difficult gearchanging from cold. Changed it for Castrol Syntrax and it has been fine ever since. Sylktran is probably ok in the rear diff though. I am not certain if the Castrol is ok for the rear diff, I didn't change that again, the manual says the rear diff oil for an STI needs to be mechanical LSD oil (Subaru part number K0904AA080) although I seem to remember it being posted that the actual viscous fluid is sealed and doesn't come out when the oil is changed so that may not be strictly true, and a GL5 75w90 may be fine.
The manual says 4.1 litres for a 6 speed gearbox and 0.9l to 1.1l for the rear diff.
You need to buy 5 litres of oil for your engine. Not sure of exact capacity, may be 4.8 litres, but you have to buy 5 anyway. I would recommend Motul 300V 15w50 or Silkolene Pro S 10w50 for the engine. I have done 30000 miles in the last year in my STI and it has been fine using these oils. If you really want Shell Helix then try a Shell garage.
Opie Oils sell all this stuff and provide good service.

The manual says 4.1 litres for a 6 speed gearbox. I think it is 1 litre for the rear diff. I bought 5 litres and don't remember not having enough.

Been told 5/40 would be a better consistency rather than 15/50 for the engine, is that not too high?
