Angry 2003 WRX POWER LOSS

Hi IM NEW TO THIS FORUM ,IVE JUST BOUGHT A 2003 IMPREZA WRX LAST WEEK AND THOUGHT I DO A FEW SUBTLE MODS

I BOUGHT A

BAILEY DUMP VALVE

GREEN COTTON PANEL FILTER

EVERYTHING WAS FINE FOR ABOUT 2 DAYS THEN I WENT TO DRIVE THE CAR ONE MORNING AND NOTICED THERE WAS A DRAMATIC POWER LOSS ,I REMOVED THE NEGATIVE ON THE BATTERY ,THEN IT WAS FINE FOR ABOUT 2 MILES THEN DID THE SAME AGAIN,ALSO THE TURBO WHISTLES VERY LOUD

PLEASE HELP

Put the original dumpvalve back on and see if that cures it-sounds like the bailey one is letting by.

The turbo whistling could be damaged so when you fitted the filter was it closed properly, but try changing the bailey's and put the old filter back in,

is this a common problem ...been out in it just now sometimes it would pull sometimes its flat ...cant believe it only had t about 2 weeks

when you fitted the B's dump valve did you blank off the black pipe where the original intercooler went into? the pipe is under the intercooler and goes to the inlet manifold i think..
