hi, i have got a bell mouth down pipe that is 3", also put heat wrap on it. (full true 3")
the nur spec goes to 2.5" where it joins onto the down pipe, mine fitted with no probs.
most of the down pipes go from 32 to 2.5 where it joins onto the centre section, this will fit fine to

There is a NUR spec R and a NUR spec S, one of them has a reducing section to 2.5" and the other is 3" all the way through.
Which one have you ordered?
I've got a Hayward and Scott 3" downpipe on mine, to say it has a loud boxer sound is a bit of an understatement!

if you want a true 3" exhaust get the downpipe full 3" with 3"flange then have the 2.5" section cut out of the blitz and wielded in a 3" connection with flange so its a turbo back true 3" as other wise there is no point in getting 3" that goes to 2.5" you might as well have it all 2.5 the reason you need it to be all one size is to get the best possible air flow where as if you go up down up it doesn't flow as good.
