Red face Worried...never happened before..help req.

Whilst driving home tonight...not really giving it any stick....I suffered a sudden and total loss of power...I nearly went through the screen.....i put it into neutral..it did not stall...my yellow engine light came on and it then all came back BUT the light has stayed on.

In 4 years of Scoob ownership I have never had anything like this.

Advice required please.

Thanks,

Russ.

That happened to me, it was a dodgy Mass Air Flow meter. Got it fixed under warranty think normal cost was around £100 fitted.

Sounds like you hit fuelcut there mate, this is a built in safety measure, when your boost preasure goes above the mapped limit it will cut the engine off for a sec to prevent damage to the engine.

nothing to worry about but you might want to find out why you went above the boost limit

cheers
