Will "limp home mode" retard the ignition by 7.5 degrees on a classic?

i know about restricting boost, but having a MBC still let me run decent boost, so i never realised my knock retard was showing as 7.5 on the scoobymonitor

AFR voltage seams to have locked down as well and will not fluctuate.

i was having a few knock sensor codes a while back with a few CEL`s so i have ordered a new sensor, but i have no CEL light now.

could be a fault in the scoobymonitor device for all i know

have you reset the ecu to see if it goes?

I was wanting to do this after the knock sensor was fitted, i knew the sensor is on the way out, so figured it might as well be changed, before i start resetting ecu`s and such.

its just i have read a few pages telling me that limp home mode limits RPM to 4k? and i dont think that happens with mine

new knock sensor fitted today, ecu reset, no CEL codes

scoobymonitor still shows knock retard set at 7.5 and the AFR is locked at 298mv

Air Fuel Correction at idle is not rocking backwards and forwards.
all other sensors seam to be reported back as fine, wondering if the scoobymonitor is somehow broken ??

will be taking the car out for a drive in 5 or so minutes, though i am expecting it to work ok.

had a drive to the post office and then the bank, car up to temp, driving perfectly

afr still seams locked and knock retard is stuck at 7.5
would a faulty lambda sensor effect the knock retard?
