Hi, my 94 wrx sti wagon has started to drop oil and it's hitting the exaust as it's smoking which is rather alarming to say the least! The level of the engine oil is staying the same and doesn't seem to of lost any!
I think it maybe the power steering oil as there is oil under the reservoir but once again it doesn't seem to of lost any and the steering seems the same!
Any ideas guys?

First thing I'd do is clean under the power steering unit and any other pipes and then go for a run...

I can only think of engine oil or power steering though...mine new age has oil cooler pipes and power steering in same location which could get on the exhaust.

had the same prob on my 95 and it was the power steering fliud res. do a search on this and you'll see the dif. problems people had.
