Getting a strange rattling noise from around the turbo area on my imported wrx after a spirited run, been told my wastegate solinoid could be shot and not closing properly is that likely? i have removed the turbo heatshield and rattle is still present any advice Thanks

check for play on the wastegate actuator shaft. If there play then its shot. Will be bloody hot if you check after a sirited run so you pliers etc.
