what is sensor in bottom of MY93 cat

Default what is sensor in bottom of MY93 cat

as above, my MY93 WRX RA has a sensor in the bottom of the downpipe, is it a lamda sensor? the de-cat i have does not accomodate this? i know there is a lamda sensor in the header.

think this is a heat/temp sensor if its a small one before the bend on the bottom of the downpipe

If your car is fitted with the standard catted downpipe, then the sensor at the bottom is the heat/temp sensor or cat on fire sensor.

You don't need this if your going to fit your new decat downpipe. Just unplug it & remove.

O2/Lamba sensor
You can either bung the lamba sensor hole in the new decat & leave the original lamba in place in the exhaust headers, or swap the order around.
Remove the lamba sensor from headers & place into decat dp, then bung the headers.

thought i didnt need it, it wasnt on my UK car when i decatted that.
i will bung up the lamda sensor hole. wen i get the turbo bolts undone anyway!
