Injector plugs help!!

Default Injector plugs help!!

I have just had a full rebuild on my 98 STI Type r engine. I've put it all back together and in the car but i can't seem to work out how you indetify which injector plug goes on which injector.

Can anyone help please???

Grey plug at the front, and Black at the rear

All of the plugs are white on mine. One on each bank has a white bit of tape around the wire thats all!!!

then the white tape should go to the front assuming they marked them up in accordance with the rule Subaru normally follow.. black is back.

you'll know if it is write if it runs okay.. if wrong it will misfire lots..

Make sure you prime the oil (prefill the oil filter and pour oil into the galleries) until the oil light goes out before starting it..

How big a job is it to change the injectors on an impreza?

Its not that bigger job really. It takes a couple of hours but its pretty straight forward. Just remember which way the plugs go. Lol
