Hi, engine light came on yesterday morning when the car was cold and the fan was running. checked the error codes.... 21 water temp sensor, reset ecu all was fine and the light came on for a couple of secs this morning. anyone know when it's located and the procedure for changing and has anybody got one ??

The temp sensor is located at the back of the engine unfortunately can't tell you exactly cos when i had mine changed i didn't do it.
I may have 1 lying around you can have (its off a 93 wrx).

 

how much do you want for it ?

 

I'll get back to you after midday just to make sure i still have it if i do you can have it for nothing.
I will point out it is 2nd hand was removed but not because it was faulty but the car had a hunting problem but no fault codes were registered so a new one fitted just incase.
