Default urgent help needed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my mates jdm spec sti 9 is idling at 2000 rpm why could this be happning plus there seems to be a slight splutter????????

off the cuff, and I'm no expert but check the idle control valve.......

he has changed the dle valve plus air flow sensor any more sugestions????

forgot to mention that the check engine light has come on and it seems to be flashing 7 times 1 sec pulses what ever that meens

Do an ECU reset, dissonnect the battry from the car for about an hour

If it fixes it, problem solved!

hi we left it off all night then started up and done the same thing

not sure about how subaru does it but I have seen this on other cars caused by a faulty powersteering sensor - as it tells the ECU to up the revs a bit when it detects turning when on idle. Wild shot but you never know

if u turn the steering wheel the idle bounces so where would i ifnd the power steering sensor??
