Default Gap on iridium plugs

As the fine centre electrode on iridium plugs (0.6mm on NGK, 0.4mm on Denso) requires less voltage than conventional materials, I wonder if it would be worth taking advatage and using a larger gap than the generally accepted 0.7mm on cars running more than the stock boost? For example, the Denso IK22 comes with 0.8mm As plug changes are not the nicest job in the world on the Scoob, you need to be sure first time!
