Switching between stock ECU and Power FC?
My car has recently been fitted with a Power FC, which means I've lost my engine fault codes. I know a few of the sensors can be monitored by the FC commander display, but not many.
Is it okay for me to temporarily put the standard ECU back in for diagnostic purposes???

Shouldn't be a problem as long as engine mods arn't too radical.
you will have to think about the Cam & Crank sensors wires and/or the fuel pump re-wire required for the Power FC depending on MY.
I swapped back to my TEK ECU in my MY00 to do some comparisons, just needed to swap the cam and crank wires to the ECU, which I have wired in on bullet connectors.

David the power fc was designed for the JDM cars so you wont need to swap any wires, the uk cars need the cam and crank wires switching over to get the car to start.
The only problem with using the standard ecu, is that it will need a bit of time to log a fault code if there is one.
