3 port faulty - getting it replaced, but map okay after?
Hi all,
I've found my 3 port valve from GMparts is leaking air (the unit itself) and through the ports even though it should be blocked until activated.
Car's been mapped like this, with solenoid leaking slightly - will replacing it under warranty affect my map or does the ecu just deal with a 3port in one way and one way only? I guess my spool will be even better if 3 port is working correctly.
Need know exactly how ECUtek/OE 02 ecu deals with 3 port...

For those that are interested the answer is that replacing a leaky solenoid with a "good" one will probably induce slight over "over-overboost".
