Had to remove the power steering reservoir,it was low on fluid anyway,hence the removal to replace the rubber washer, i didnt have any fluid in the shed,should of checked 1st,anyhoo, had to drive it with an empty reservoir for about 10 miles to the shops,it whined a bit and was a bit hard to steer,naturally, now i have re-filled with fluid,its still whines and is fooked, i mean,ive done this a few times on other cars, once the pipe burst from reservoir to metal pipes on my old Cav, that was fine for 25 miles or so with no fluid in reservoir, cheap jap crap, lucky i have another one to replace it with,but surely it was on its way out anyway

Its not like the system was empty,just the reservoir, it had enough in it to function 70%

let this be a lesson to u all LOL

 

Unlucky Mate, I had to replace my PSP yesterday.

Not telling you how to suck eggs mate but I assume you have done the Lock to lock thing to ensure its blead properly
