Default Is a remap essential (not preferable!)

Recently purchased a set of STi injectors for a MY03WRX running a VF24 turbo and supporting mods.

I'm looking to getting the injectors fitted in the next few weeks together with some other work but then probably wont be able to get a remap for a few after that.
Is there going to be a negative consequence of driving around as normal without a remap?
I don't pretend to be an expert but I wouldn't have thought there was any -ve consequence other than over fuelling from the injectors, I'm guessing but the signal sent from the ECU to the injectors may correspond to a difference in volume of fuel injected between the pinks and standard injectors, I'm guessing more as the pink can supply more fuel in any given moment of time.

Opinions would be greatfully received, cheers

Personally I would not drive the car at all untill its mapped!!, Ive just fitted 650's in my WRX and have been strongly advised not to drive it untill its been mapped, Not sure on how the ECU compensates the flow between the signals and the different nozzel sizes, id speak to one of the mappers ie Andy, Bob R etc. or one of the teccies!!!

I would ask your mapper mate! At the very best, I'd imagine you're going to have to drive it everywhere off boost.

Im fitting 650's this week and having it mapped next week.

The mapper has told me to drive off boost between the two.

fit the injectors as close to the remap as you can.. if it is going to be a few weeks then hold off fitting them!
