You may have a leak somewhere, have you done a pressure test?

Providing rad, coolant fans working etc. as they should, try Zerosports for thermostat opens about 76 if i remember rightly.

I had same problem when i went APS front mount, temp when on it rose rapidly and fans struggle to get it down. Until i fixed allways ran aircon on so aircon fan runnning all time this did help a bit.

I have all so fitted Zerosports coolrad and cap and according to my Defi water temp above 100mph it runs about 2 degrees cooler than before.

Prob worth getting your fan cut in time lowered when you next have remap, ECUTEK has this feature and with other mods works really well.

My car now warms up quickly to about 90 and never even when thrashing it goes above 100.

Plus i think when ECU sees above a certain coolant/inlet temp it drops timing and boost to protect against det.

Jase.

with the mods, there is a chance it is running leaner unless you have had a remap.

100 does seem a little to high imo even after spirited driving. In normal conditions mine sites at about 86 - 88 degrees, in traffic it occasionally goes upto 91 degrees and hard driving about the same again. The fans should lower the temps more or less instantly

I thought this would have been a consequence of the FMIC interfering with the air flow to the rad?

A Zero Sports thermostat is a great idea
