Default My black engined sport

The previous owner so kindly (:swear sprayed my engine balck with heat resistant paint. Now, When I temping at vauxhalls Fleet Management. I showed one of the inspectors my engine and he said about using a very high pressure power washer to get the black paint off and obviously removing the electronics.
This black paint it pitting which make the engine bay look even worse
Now can the paint be removed to show the orignal engine colour??
This is what my engine bay look like

and this is what it SHOULD look like this Andi's sport - I hope you don't mind

Thanks

Probably would be quite hard to do it, without removing plenty of stuff. But Nitromors paint stripper should work very well combined with a jet wash. Its a jelly like substance that you leave on paint for a while, then blast it off with water. I doubt if water alone would get rid off it.
Why the hell would anyone want a matt black engine anyway?

It's pretty much a give that you'd have to take care to not get it on the bodywork, but I can't see of any other way to remove heat resistant paint. Well you could us sandpaper, but thats not practical.

Available from DIY stores, but here the one I used for stripping a metal boost pipe on another car:

I now people that use it on engine blocks to clean them right up, even if there isn't any paint on them.
