Default new engine in and throwing error 13 and wont fire

ok put a new engine in my car from a 2004 wrx uk car
used my inlet manifold as suggested and all went in ok

came to turn her over just now but just wont fire over
i connected the black connectors under steering column
error 13
camshaft position sensor.

any1 know what i have to do to get it sorted
im at a loose end now

You'll find it'll start and run in safe-mode (join black and green connectors) if needed whilst you fix the problem.

If you've put the 2004 engine into a classic, then it won't fire up unless you change the crankshaft sprocket and the LH intake cam sprocket, as the timing pickup are different.

ok its sorted now
swapped crank pulley and camshaft pulley over with my old cars pulleys and she fired straight up

thanks to all the guys for their help
they will be mentioned in my thread on changing engine in projects
