05 STI PPP - Exhaust Question
I got an 05 STI with PPP and not sure what parts of the exhaust are replaced when PPP is done?
Talking to someone the other day and they recommended removing the centre section and putting in place a straight thru stainless pipe.
Will this do anything other than make the car louder as I think the standard pipe has a resonator in it.
Thoughts & advice welcome.
Cheers.

i think
the downpipe is different (prodrive sports cat)
2 cat removed (prodrive)
centre section with box standard part
prodrive rear box
i replaced my centre section with a scoobyworld pipe which has a resinator in it sounds better not to noisy ! and better flowing

I've got an 05 sti-ppp , the front cat is replaced with a high flow cat , the 2nd cat is removed and a straight thru pipe fitted but still had the heat sheild for the second cat around the pipe , the pipe from the second cat has a resonator still there and this lot is attached to the stainless prodrive rear box . Have replaced the prodrive box with a magnex catback system and have a nice burble back but not to loud !
